Monthly Update from Harriss Jones Lawyers – October

We’ve been so busy this month, but we still have a couple of updates to keep you in the loop of all the latest at Harriss Jones Lawyers.

Kathryn and Melanie both attended an all-day seminar on Family Law hosted by the College of Law Sydney. This session saw both Kathryn and Melanie brush up on their Family Law skills and ensure they are well prepared for anything a divorce, custody or financial dispute may throw their way.

The Jannali Moonrise Festival also took place for the second year as part of the NSW Governments Open Streets Program. With stalls, plenty of activities for the kids and entertainment for all ages, this was a great day filled with something for everyone. We also ran a lolly guessing competition!

You may have also noticed that we’ve revamped our website. There have been some changes as we’ve moved across to a new web design. You’ll also see we’ve added Family Law and Environmental Planning Law to the page, as well as added a new contact page which you can now use to put a specific enquiry into. We hope you find this easier to use and we’d love to hear your feedback on the new site.

As we creep closer to Christmas, please note that our team will be having a short break over the holiday period with our office closing on 22 December 2025 and reopening on 12 January 2026.

We’d also like to extend our congratulations to all our clients who have recently purchased property or sold and moved into new homes. It’s been a busy month for the conveyancing team as always! November is also already shaping up to be a big month for property sales and purchases. We are grateful for your trust and are always here to support you with your legal needs as you move forward.

Our team remains committed to providing high-quality legal services to all our clients. Whether you need assistance with a property transaction, will or business-related matter, we’re here to help.

We’d also love to hear from you! If you’ve worked with us recently, we’d appreciate your feedback. Feel free to leave a Google or Facebook review or drop us a note at admin@hjlaw.com.au. From all of us at Harriss Jones Lawyers, thank you for your continued support. We look forward to helping you navigate the legal landscape in the months ahead.
